Hi, my name is Ashley Wong and I am 15 years old. I live in Hawaii which became a part of the United States in the year of 1898. Last summer up to now (2012), I decided to write a book and educate my community. But, instead of writing a book, I decided to create a website in which allows anyone around the world to view. I taught some friends, adults and basically those who are interested on how to train and show a show dog as my personal project for my school, Le Jardin Academy. My family takes a high interest in dogs, which brought me this idea for my personal project. Since I am interacting and teaching people with the use of creating a website and holding education/ training classes, my area of interaction would be community and service. I am hoping to use my knowledge to teach others and hopefully it will carry on teaching people of any age.
My mother, Yvette Oganeku, and grandmother, Clarice Oganeku, are known as Woodrose Kennels. We mostly show Pomeranians, but we sometimes show Shiba Inus in dog shows. My mother used to show all different types of dogs for dog show breeders and is a handler. I now co-own a dog with my mother and grandmother.
